Hey ! I'm Matt. I'm a Photographer based on the Gold Coast & my journey into photography began in 2011 surrounded by good friends, bodyboarding on the coastline of Northern NSW. I found myself gravitating towards the lens over riding the waves and quickly developed a passion & appreciation for surf and landscape photography.
Fast forward to 2016. My life had changed (albeit for the better) after the birth of my first son. I noticed a shift in my work, after spending every weekend capturing images in and amongst the surf my portfolio now reflected my growing family. In 2019, after having my second boy my passion in portrait and family photography has continued. However i still love sneaking off to capture landscape images focusing on sunrises and sunsets, taking in the environment and that natural lighting.
In 2020, my photography journey has led me to what I believe is my real passion, Wedding Photography. Meeting couples and documenting one of their most special days is the ultimate feeling and is something that makes my heart full.
When behind the camera my main focus is to capture true emotions, personalities and relationships. I would describe my style as honest; i like my images to be simple, crisp and flooded with natural lighting. I love what i do and am grateful for the opportunity to take meaningful photos.
